8. Updates and Modifications
8.1 The Household Business may release Updates to the Extension at any time.
8.2 Updates are delivered via the Chrome Web Store auto-update mechanism. The Licensee's browser may apply Updates automatically.
8.3 Updates may modify or remove Extension features. Significant feature removals will be communicated via the in-extension changelog or by email to the Licensee's registered address.
8.4 Continued use of the Extension after an Update constitutes the Licensee's acceptance of changes to the Extension itself. Changes to this EULA require separate acceptance per §14 below.
9. Termination of License
9.1 Automatic termination. This license terminates automatically, without notice from the Household Business, upon the earliest of:
- The Licensee's uninstallation of the Extension;
- A material breach by the Licensee of any term of this Agreement; or
- Termination of the Service for the Licensee under the Terms of Service.
9.2 Effect of termination. Upon termination, the Licensee must immediately cease all use of the Extension. The following provisions survive termination of this Agreement: §5 (Intellectual Property Ownership), §10 (Disclaimers), §11 (Limitation of Liability), §13 (Governing Law and Venue), and §15 (Severability; Entire Agreement; No Waiver).
10. Disclaimers
THE EXTENSION IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE HOUSEHOLD BUSINESS EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, TITLE, ACCURACY, AND UNINTERRUPTED AVAILABILITY.
THE HOUSEHOLD BUSINESS DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE EXTENSION WILL MEET THE LICENSEE'S REQUIREMENTS, THAT OPERATION WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.
EU/EEA consumer exception. Nothing in this section limits or excludes any statutory warranties or other consumer-protection rights that cannot lawfully be waived under applicable EU member-state law or EU consumer-protection directives. Where such non-waivable statutory rights apply, they are not disclaimed by this Agreement.
11. Limitation of Liability
11.1 Exclusion of consequential damages. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Household Business shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages arising out of or relating to the Extension, including loss of profits, loss of data, or loss of goodwill, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
11.2 Aggregate liability cap. The Household Business's total aggregate liability to the Licensee for all claims arising out of or relating to the Extension shall not exceed the greater of:
- (a) The total fees paid by the Licensee for the Extension in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. The Extension is currently offered at no charge; this amount is therefore USD $0.00; or
- (b) USD $50.00.
At current free pricing, this cap is USD $50.00.
11.3 Non-waivable exceptions. Nothing in this Agreement limits the Household Business's liability for:
- Gross negligence or willful misconduct;
- Death or personal injury caused by the Household Business's negligence;
- Non-waivable EU consumer-protection rights (see the EU/EEA exception in §10); or
- A California resident's private right of action under California Civil Code §1798.150 (CCPA). [cite: https://leginfo.legislature.ca.gov/faces/codes_displaySection.xhtml?sectionNum=1798.150.&lawCode=CIV]
11.4 The limitation of liability in this §11 applies to the Extension software license specifically. The broader Service liability framework is set out in the Terms of Service.
12. Export Controls
The Extension may be subject to export control laws of Vietnam, the United States, and the European Union. By installing or using the Extension, the Licensee represents and warrants that:
- The Licensee is not located in a jurisdiction subject to comprehensive U.S. export sanctions (including Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, and the Crimea, Donetsk, and Luhansk regions);
- The Licensee is not listed on the U.S. Treasury Department's Specially Designated Nationals list, the U.S. Commerce Department's Denied Persons list, or any equivalent list maintained by the EU or the Socialist Republic of Vietnam; and
- The Licensee will not use, export, re-export, or transfer the Extension in violation of any applicable export control law or regulation.
13. Governing Law and Venue
The governing law, dispute resolution procedure, and venue for this Agreement are those set out in Terms of Service §16. In summary:
- Primary governing law: The Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
- Default venue: The district People's Court (Tòa án Nhân dân Cấp huyện) holding territorial jurisdiction over the Household Business's registered address in Thành Phố Hồ Chí Minh, in accordance with applicable Vietnamese civil-procedure law.
- EU/EEA carve-out: EU users may also bring proceedings in their member-state courts and lodge complaints with their national supervisory authority per GDPR Article 79. [cite: https://eur-lex.europa.eu/eli/reg/2016/679/oj]

[cite: https://leginfo.legislature.ca.gov/faces/codes_displaySection.xhtml?sectionNum=1798.155.&lawCode=CIV]
- No mandatory arbitration. This Agreement does not require the Licensee to submit disputes to binding arbitration.
14. Changes to this EULA
14.1 The Household Business may amend this Agreement at any time.
14.2 For material changes, the Household Business will provide notice via an in-extension banner or email to the Licensee's registered address at least fourteen (14) days before the amended Agreement takes effect.
14.3 Continued use of the Extension after an amendment takes effect constitutes the Licensee's acceptance of the amended terms. If the Licensee does not accept the amended terms, the Licensee must uninstall the Extension before the amendment's effective date.
15. Severability; Entire Agreement; No Waiver
Severability. If any provision of this Agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable under applicable law, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable. All other provisions will continue in full force and effect.
Entire Agreement. This Agreement, together with the Terms of Service, constitutes the entire agreement between the Licensee and the Household Business with respect to the Extension. It supersedes all prior representations, understandings, or agreements on the same subject matter.
No waiver. Failure by the Household Business to enforce any right or provision of this Agreement does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
